Uzbekistan – the country located in the Central Asia, always attracts tourists with the beauty and immensity of the region. Nature of Uzbekistan is diverse: from the hot Sands of Kyzylkum in the West – to the ice springs of the Tien-Shan in the East. The interfluve of Amu Darya and Syr Darya rivers represents a rich flora and fauna, thanks to the study of which, a huge contribution to the science is made up to this day. In addition to its historical and cultural heritage, Uzbekistan boasts a huge variety of birds, which are of a great interest to admirers from all over the globe. There are more than 460 kinds of birds, both migratory and of local origin. Of these, more than 265 types nest in Uzbekistan, and 31 types are on the verge of extinction and are subject of monitoring and surveillance by WAP.

Our team of ornithologists gives you a unique opportunity to be alone with nature and to understand one of its key elements – Birds! Our tour embraces attractive, and at the same time important for ornithology, the land of Uzbekistan. From Chimgan mountains at an altitude of 1500 to 6500 meters above the sea level, to deserts and lakes near Bukhara. Here you can fill in your personal ornithological journal with a huge number of rare birds, which are valued all over the world, watching and exploring them.

You will start your trip in the North-West of the capital region, 80 km from Tashkent - in the Chimgan mountains. From a great variety of birds here, You will be able to meet such unique representatives as the Eastern Rock Nuthatch, Lessergrey Shrike, Golden oriole, Nightingale, Yellow-Breasted Tit, Rufous-vented Tit, Hume's Lesser Whitethroat, Oatmeal, Mountain and Rockandwhite-Capped Buntings.

Places among the low-lying hills of southern Samarkand are undoubtedly one of the most visited and most important places for ornithologists. In this area You will see a Eurasian Griffon and the Black Vulture flying through the sky. Such birds can afford to nest on snow-covered mountain tops. In dense-deciduous bushes or shrubs, You will be able to meet Lesser Grey and Isabelline Shrike, White-throated Robin, Eastern Orphean Warbler and Upcher''s Warbler, and in the high grasses of these lands – Eastern Rock Nuthatch and Lark Tree-Creeper. Among the tall trees can be seen the Pied Wheatear, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Red-headed Bunting and Hume's Short-toed Lark.

In the Zarafshan reservation, flowing lagoons and woodland areas are inhabited by such birds as: Eastern Oilvacous Warbler, Turkestan Tit, White-capped Penduline Tit, White-winged Woodpecker, Night Heron and Shikra.

In the Tuda–Kul lake near Bukhara, you can find Caspianrace of Common Reed Warbler and Clamorous Reed Warbler. Addicted to the search for rare kinds in these places, you can find cormorant Marbled Teal and Pygmy Cormorant. There are a lot of constant companions thow: Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Rufous Bush Robins, Red-crested Pochard, Purple Herons, Caspian Gulls, White-tailed Plovers. In the shrubs here Menetries Warbler, as well as Blue-cheeked Bee-eat, Long-tailed Shrike and Pied Bushchats are found.

The endless Sands of Kyzylkum are a haven for a wide variety of rare birds. One such example is the Houbara bustard which was almost exterminated by hunters, but nowadays the population is able to recover.

Registan Square is surrounded with beautiful buildings from three sides: ‘Ulugbek’ madrasah, ‘Sher-dor’ madrasah and ‘Till-Kari’ madrassah. All these three madrasahs are directed with the portals to the middle of the square and form united ensemble composition. Each building is distinguished by its unusual decor - a pattern of stone on the walls and portals. The blue domes above the madrasah are made with burnt bricks, and glazed tiles adorn them from the outside, it shines brightly in the sun.

The ‘Bibi-khanum’ mosque. A beautiful legend is connected with the ‘Bibi-Khanum’ mosque. According to which the formidable governor built a mosque for his beloved wife Bibi-Khanum. After a successful trip to India, Timur decided to build the largest building in the East. Shining walls, significant minarets, extensive portal of the mosque, carved with marble, glorified the name of Timur and his beloved wife.

Ensemble of ‘Shokh-i-Zinda’. The ‘Shokh-i-Zinda’ ensemble consists of eleven mausoleums, which were joined to each other in sequence during the XIV-XV centuries. This unique and mysterious ensemble is located near the ancient settlement ‘Afrasiab’. The ensemble is also called ‘Cemetery Street’. The blue domes of the mausoleums, rushing the chain into the far, look like a graceful necklace from a bird's eye view.

Ulugbek Observatory. The ‘Ulugbek’ Observatory is a vivid confirmation of the significant development of architecture, science and culture in Central Asia in the XIV-XV centuries. Visit to the ‘Lyabi-Hauz’ Ensemble, ‘Nodir Divan Begi’ Madrassah, ‘Kukeldash’ Madrasah - the largest madrasah in Bukhara, ‘Ulugbek’ Madrasah - the only building that existing from the times of the famous "scientist on the throne" of Ulugbek. ‘Kalyan’ Minaret, without which it is impossible to imagine the silhouette of Bukhara. Next to the minaret is ‘Kalyan’ Mosque and the Muslim spiritual school – ‘Mir-i-Arab’ madrasah that is acting from the 16th century to the present day.

The Ark Citadel‘Bolo Hauz’ Mosque, domed trading buildings- ‘taki I tymi’. The mausoleum of Ismail Samani is the oldest surviving building of Central Asia. Mausoleum of Chashma Ayub ("The Source of Job"). The legend of the monument is connected with the prophet Job (Ayub).

Visit to the functioning Madrassah ‘Kukeldash’- one of the largest madrasahs existing in our days in Central Asia. This madrasah is located near the Chorsu square in the historical part of Tashkent.
