On November 13, the opening ceremony of the fourth Consulate General of Uzbekistan was held in Yekaterinburg, which is located at 22 Karl Liebknecht street, Yekaterinburg.
The first Consulates General of Uzbekistan opened in the territory of the Russian Federation were in Moscow and Novosibirsk, the third Consulate General recently began its work in the city of St. Petersburg.
The opening ceremony of the Consulate was attended by representatives of business community of Uzbekistan, as well as by Botirjon Asadov - Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia and by Vasily Kozlov - Minister of foreign economic relations of Russian Federation.
In addition to the grand opening of the Consulate, where guests were served with the true Uzbek Pilaf, business conference dedicated to the tourism potential and culture of Uzbekistan was held. At the ceremony, representatives were able to learn more about the Orient culture, taste Uzbek cuisine, enjoy national dances and music.
This Consulate will provide legal support not only for citizens of the Russian Federation but for each seeking person.
During the celebration, it was also held the first conference out of four named "Travel to Uzbekistan", which aims to promote ecological and ski tourism, as well as gastronomic tourism of Uzbekistan.
This conference will cover 4 cities:
- Novosibirsk
- Yekateringburg
- Ufa
- Kazan
