Bukhara will become a tourist crossroads between 3 cities – Samarkand, Khiva, Shahrisabz. Number of flights and train runs on the routes to Bukhara will be increased, and new tourist buses will be allowed on all four routes.
Up to 2021, the total flow of foreigners to Bukhara is planned to be doubled.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev canceled the construction of new hotels in Bukhara. Part of the allocated money for the construction of hotels will be used to reconstruct of existing ones, so beloved by tourists. These include Bukhara Palace, Hotel Varakhsha and Zarafshan. In total, up to 7000 places for recreation will be organized.
In addition to the work aimed at developing the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the route Gijduvan – Kagan is being built, with a length of 122 km, establishing transport conditions for the transportation of passengers, improving the conditions of movement and comfort during travel.
