On February 1, 2019, Uzbekistan will introduce an electronic visa for 76 countries.
Changes on the e-visa, as well as additional measures for the development of tourism, were provided by the President of Uzbekistan in the decree of January 5, 2019.
E-Visa services became available from July 2018. E-visa is transmitted in PDF format to the applicant's e-mail, and is NOT pasted into the passport.

Previously, an electronic visa was issued for a one-time visit to Uzbekistan, and the fee was $20. Note that starting 03/15/19 E-Visa for double-entry ($35 fee) and multiple-entry ($50 fee) will be available, the validity of which will not exceed 30 days.
E-visa application is processed within 2 working days, excluding the day of application, and after receipt, it will be valid for 90 days.
It is ought to be mentioned that starting from February 1, tourists from 45 countries can come to Uzbekistan without a tourist visa.
